FOOD?
A variety of cakes and slices to choose from together with a large coffee and hot chocolate range. I have yet to try a proper meal here but judging by the quality of cakes I would presume the wider menu would be pretty tasty – will keep you posted.
Good central location amongst my friends so I will be going back to Choclatte if I’m in the area. Easy to find and great for coffee (and cake) catch ups.
SERVICE?
Not the friendliest of staff but it didn’t really bother me too much.
AMBIENCE?
Located within the walkway between Burke Road and the Coles outdoor carpark. Decent cafe for a relaxed catch up with friends or a casual lunch before or after running the errands for the day. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available and thus perfect for a summery Melbourne day.
VALUE?
No complaints here. Average price for a cafe in Camberwell.
BOOKINGS?
Seems like most patrons stop by here for a coffee or cake and maybe a light snack so it should be okay to drop in without a booking.
